 Entries

• Entry is a record in the catalog.

• Type of entry is the entry author, title, series etc.

• One of the entries were selected for the main entry.

• Other entries we call the entry in addition. 

• Usually the main entry of the selected is under the name of the author. 

There is a rules how we select the entry. This table will summaries the rules for select the main entry for cataloging.

 

If the author is the main entry, so there is the rules how to write the author's name in the main entry. So this is the rules :

Conferences

While, for the conference, it is different for the way of recording the entry. Here are 2 conferences.

Examples :

1St International Malaysian Educational Technology Conference, Shah Alam, 2006
2nd International Malaysian Educational Technology Conference, Johor Bahru, 2007

This is the way how to record the conferences :

International Malaysian Educational Technology Conference (2006: Shah Alam)

International Malaysian Educational Technology Conference (2nd: 2007: Johor Bahru)
